The Patience of the Saints
You have been praying for your brother for seven years. You have been faithful in your marriage through a long, dry stretch. You have shown up to serve at church when no one noticed and no one thanked you. Endurance is not dramatic. It is Tuesday morning discipline when nothing has changed and no one is watching. Revelation calls it the patience of the saints, and it matters more than you think.

Guidance
The word in Revelation 13:10 is *hupomone*, patient endurance. It is not passive. It is active waiting, holding your ground when the ground shifts under your feet. The saints in Revelation endure because they know the end of the story. The Lamb wins. The dragon loses. The kingdom comes. That knowledge does not make the waiting easy, but it makes it possible. You can endure a long obedience when you know it is not wasted. Your faithfulness in marriage when it is hard, your showing up to pray when you do not feel like it, your quiet service that no one sees, all of it is seen by the One who walks among the lampstands. He does not miss a single act of patient endurance. The world celebrates the flashy and the loud. God honors the man who keeps his post when no one is looking. That is you. That is the call. Not to do something spectacular this week, but to do the next right thing and then the next one after that. String enough of those together and you will look back in ten years and see that you built something that lasts.
Notes from the Watch
I have a friend who has been teaching the same Sunday school class for twenty-two years. Same room, same age group, different kids every few years. No one writes articles about him. But I would bet my house that there are men in their thirties and forties right now who are faithful because he was faithful when they were thirteen. That is patient endurance. That is what Revelation honors. Keep your post, brother.
